Weekly project updates 4/6/2026 - 4/10/2026

Hello, Loveland!

Here’s this week’s update from the Madison Avenue Corridor Improvement Project, along with a look ahead at what’s planned for next week (April 13-17):

• Madison Avenue between 29th Street and 37th Street was closed on 4/6/26. Madison is scheduled to be re-opened by 5/1/26. Detours and signage have been placed to guide traffic around the construction area.
• Work has begun to complete remaining concrete improvements that were not constructed before the winter shutdown.
• Topsoil is being hauled in to prepare disturbed areas for site restoration involving seeding, mulching, and placement of erosion blankets.
• In the coming days, the project will continue with concrete improvements and finish grading of slopes.
• Concrete piers for the roundabout sculpture have been poured and are curing now.

Looking ahead:

• There will be one remaining luminaire to install at corner of Hem Fir Place and Madison Avenue.
• Concrete installation is estimated to completed by Tuesday, 4/14/26.
• There will be approximately one full day of milling next week followed by approximately two full days of paving (top lift).
• Striping for the new pavement and street sign will occur the week of 4/20.
• Final seeding, mulching, and erosion blanket placements scheduled to take place the week of 4/20.
