Weekly project updates 11/24/2025 - 11/28/2025

Hello, Loveland!

Here’s this week’s update from the Madison Avenue Corridor Improvement Project, along with a look ahead at what’s planned for next week (December 1 – December 5):

  • Crews continued with curb and gutter concrete pouring, as well as hand forming on Madison Avenue.
  • Residential driveway pouring began.
  • Holiday hours on Thanksgiving Day and the Day After Thanksgiving:
    • Work operations will resume on Monday, Dec. 1, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Looking ahead (Weather dependent):

  • Operations to complete the concrete curb, gutter and driveways will continue to be poured along Madison Avenue.
  • Bottom lift of asphalt may begin, weather depending.
  • As asphalt operations begin, we ask community members to stay clear of the active construction zone. Heavy equipment will increase onsite as crews install asphalt on the road.
  • If snowfall is expected, operations may temporarily stall production until snowfall clears.

Upcoming Closure of Monroe Bridge:

Please refer to the photos below for a visual update of progress.

To protect and preserve the new curb and gutter at the Seven Lakes entrance, blankets are placed over the concrete.
New curb and gutter placed on the west side of Madison Avenue.

Weather permitting, work activities are Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. To contact the project team, call 970-962-3669 or email PublicWorksInfo@cityofloveland.org. Thank you for your patience as we complete these improvements!
