Project update 8/3/26 - 8/7/26

Hello Stakeholders,

As the Garfield-Harrison Drainage Project nears completion, crews will be focusing on final restoration activities and one remaining storm drainage improvement over the next several weeks. Below is a summary of upcoming work:

1. ZGL Landscaping is continuing landscape restoration work along the west section of 10th Street.
2. Beginning August 10 and continuing through August 28, crews are scheduled to install the final section of storm pipe. This work will require a temporary closure of Colorado Avenue between 10th and 11th Streets, as well as a portion of 11th Street.
3. A proof roll of the roadway subgrade is scheduled for August 19, followed by asphalt patching on Colorado Avenue on August 20.
4. The project office trailer is expected to be removed at the end of August, and the staging area will be restored to its original condition.

Additional information regarding the temporary road closure, traffic impacts and detour routes will be shared prior to the start of construction.

Weather permitting, work activities are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
