Weekly Project Updates 8/11/25 - 8/15/25

Here are the project updates for the week:

  • Crews will continue to install RCP pipe west of Colorado Avenue, on 8th Street.
  • Concrete work continues for the inlets, curb and gutter, and sidewalks on 8th Street.
  • Crews will be potholing to locate utilities on 9th Street, beginning on August 11th. Crews will be on site to begin construction starting August 13th.
  • The contractor will begin clean-up around Garfield Elementary School - this includes street sweeping with a large sweeper during the morning of August 8th. Roadways including the intersection of Colorado Avenue and 8th Street will be reopened to the traveling public, and the signal will be operational as well.

Weather permitting, work activities are Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm.
