Weekly Project Update 9/1/25 - 9/5/25

Here are the project updates for the week (9/1-9/5):

  • In observance of Labor Day, no work will occur on Monday, September 1, 2025. Construction will resume Tuesday, September 2nd. Streets will be cleaned and cleared of materials to allow residents safe and convenient travel throughout the holiday weekend.
  • Crews installed the last manhole on 8th Street at Duffield Avenue on Thursday, August 28, 2025. This week, the crew is working on installing inlets mid-block and at the end of the run (at Duffield Avenue).
  • The 9th Street crew is mid-block with the stormwater pipe installation. They are backfilling, compacting, testing, and placing recycled asphalt above the trench as they continue to move west.
  • The crew is also starting the installation of the 9th Street alley storm pipe, which is scheduled to begin on September 2, 2025.
  • Concrete crews will be following the inlet crew to complete the tops of the inlets and the sidewalks.

Weather permitting, work activities are Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm.
