Weekly Project Update 10/6/25 - 10/10/25
Here are project updates for the week of October 6th-10th:
- The new waterline has been connected to the existing main and is currently being chlorinated. Crews flushed the line on Friday, October 3rd, and collect water samples for testing. Service will be restored and meters reinstalled between Monday and Wednesday, October 6th-8th.
- Milling on 10th Street was delayed while survey points were being laid out by the project Surveyor.
- Work on the stormwater pipe along Franklin Avenue up to 10th Street is expected to resume Friday, October 3rd, but will more likely begin on Monday, October 6th.
- Crews will finish grading the alley north of 9th Street and complete cleanup work.
- The base crew will begin milling and removing the section of 9th Street scheduled for new asphalt.
- The concrete crew will build the northeast corner radius; including curb, gutter, sidewalk, and the new handicap-accessible ramp.
Weather permitting, work activities are Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
