Project Updates for 3/23/26 - 3/27/26

Below are project updates from this week, as well as for the upcoming week (March 23rd-27th):

  • The pipe crew worked on two inlets at the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and 10th Street last week. Progress was slow due to site conditions, but the installations have been completed.
  • The concrete crew worked on inlets, curb, gutter, and sidewalks to catch up, with three remaining inlets to complete once the pipe crew finishes installation.
  • Flyers have been distributed to all residents along West 10th Street, between Colorado Avenue and Douglas Avenue, with the anticipated closure of 10th Street to begin as early as Monday, March 23, 2026.
  • The base crew is expected to return next week to begin work at the Roosevelt Avenue and 10th Street intersection and complete remaining sections from the previous round of base and paving.
  • Following completion of base work, the paving crew will return to place remaining bottom layer of asphalt and begin mill and overlay operations on the remaining street sections, including 10th Street, Roosevelt Avenue, and 11th Street from Roosevelt Avenue to McKinley Avenue.
  • Potholing and saw cutting may also occur next week along 10th Street west of Colorado Avenue to Douglas Avenue.

Weather permitting, work activities are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm.
