Project Updates for 3/2/26 - 3/6/26
Below are project updates from this week, as well as for the upcoming week (March 2-6):
- This week, the main line pipe crew completed installation of the manhole and pipe at the northeastern end of the project, located at McKinley Avenue and 11th Street. They are installing the final inlet at that intersection today.
- The second pipe crew is installing inlets along 10th Street and Roosevelt Avenue and will continue this work over the next few weeks. Remaining installations include two inlets on 10th Street, two on Roosevelt Avenue, and one on 11th Street.
- The concrete crew completed additional inlet work this week and will continue next week.
- On Thursday, February 26th, the paving crew placed the bottom lift and leveling course on 10th Street from Harrison Avenue to just east of Franklin Avenue, as well as on a section of Roosevelt Avenue from 10th Street to Barnes Place.
- Next week, the pipe crew will continue installing the remaining inlets.
- The concrete crew will continue pouring inlet tops and completing curb, gutter, and sidewalk work as needed.
- The base crew will return to prepare sections of Roosevelt Avenue and 11th Street for the paving crew to place the bottom lift of asphalt.
- In approximately two weeks, work will shift to West 10th Street between Colorado Avenue and Douglas Avenue. Advance notices will be distributed to nearby residents and businesses.
Weather permitting, work activities are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm.
