Project Updates for 3/13/26 - 3/17/26

Below are project updates from this week, as well as for the upcoming week (April 13th-17th):

  • The pipe crew installed several inlets along West 10th Street between Colorado Avenue and Douglas Avenue on the south side of the roadway.
  • The paving crew returned to the site and completed cleanup along Roosevelt Avenue, 10th Street (from Franklin to Harrison), the Roosevelt and 11th Street intersection, and 11th Street from Roosevelt to McKinley.
  • After cleanup, the paving crew milled areas of the roadway in poor condition and improved edge transitions for smoother tie-ins.
  • Crews then raised manholes and valve boxes and completed paving operations at the Roosevelt Avenue and 11th Street intersection, along 11th Street from Roosevelt to McKinley, on Roosevelt Avenue from 10th to 11th Street, and on 10th Street from Harrison to Roosevelt.
  • Paving from 10th Street from Roosevelt to Franklin will occur next.
  • The landscaping crew is expected to mobilize later the week of 4/13, to begin work at intersections, including landscape restoration, sprinkler repairs, and sod placement as needed.
  • The concrete crew will replace two damaged curb sections at the radius of 11th Street and Roosevelt Avenue.
  • The intersection of Colorado Avenue and 10th Street will be closed for approximately four weeks to allow for major utility work and pipe installation.
  • Work will continue along 10th Street, including removal of old asphalt and concrete along the north side of the roadway, resident access to homes will be maintained.

Weather permitting, work activities are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm.
