Project updates 5/18/26 - 5/22/26

Hello Stakeholders,

Below are project updates from this week, as well as for the upcoming week (May 18th-22nd):

1. The concrete crew continued working in sections along the south curb and gutter on 10th Street between Colorado Avenue and Douglas Avenue and also completed the sidewalk sections started last week.
2. No storm pipe was installed this week, as pipe installation was completed two weeks ago. However, crews did place riprap at the outlet structure along the channel near 1st Street.
3. The concrete crew has also been busy removing and replacing residential and apartment complex entrances while coordinating access with residents throughout construction.
4. Concrete work has begun at the intersection of Colorado Avenue and 10th Street and will continue next week, including installation of ADA ramps, sidewalk, curb, gutter and cross pans.
5. The base crew is expected to return late next week to begin removing asphalt along 10th Street, as well as the north-side sidewalk and entrances, in preparation for new sidewalk, curb, gutter and roadway paving.

Weather permitting, work activities are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm.
