Project update 6/29/26 - 7/2/26
Hello Stakeholders,
Below are project updates from this week, as well as for the upcoming week (June 29th-July 3rd). Please note that no construction work will take place on Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
- Hoff Concrete removed and replaced the two sidewalk sections over the Little Barnes Ditch on Franklin Avenue to improve drainage. The new sidewalks now drain properly and no longer retain standing water.
- Connell Resources has removed the existing roadway on West 10th Street from Colorado Avenue to nearly Douglas Avenue in preparation for reconstruction.
- Hoff Concrete also ground the flow line at the Roosevelt Avenue crossing over the Little Barnes Ditch and replaced two sections of curb and gutter to improve drainage around the corner.
- Weather permitting, Connell Resources will begin shaping the reconstructed roadway on West 10th Street in preparation for paving, with work expected to begin Tuesday.
- Once paving is complete, Hoff Concrete will complete work on the inlet near Lynx Drive.
- Fence removal at the Arkins Branch property has been completed, and recycled material has been delivered as part of the site reclamation effort.
- Hoff Concrete and Connell Resources will continue working through remaining punch list items as the project nears completion.
Weather permitting, work activities are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm.
