Weekly update 10/26/26 - 11/1/26

Hello Stakeholders!

Here are the project updates for the week of 10/26/26-11/1/26:

• Block 5 (Garfield to Railroad Ave.)
  • Vehicle access will be limited to Garfield Ave. only.
• Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad crossing & 4^th Street
  • Access across the BNSF railroad tracks is fully closed to vehicles
  • Pedestrian crossings at the tracks are shifting; please follow posted signage.
  • Installed concrete paving, sidewalk pavers, and boulder seat walls.
• Block 4 (Cleveland to Railroad Ave.)
  • The block is open to traffic with limited southbound access at Railroad Ave. (east).
  • Installed concrete paving (intersection) and electric work.
• Blocks 1, 2, 3 and 5
  • Permanent sculptures will be installed, which may require the temporary closure of parking spots to accommodate equipment.
• Block 3 (Lincoln to Cleveland) (non-project related work)
  • Sidewalk closure at 225 E. 4^th Street; please follow posted signage.
• Painter’s Alley (non-project related work)
  • East side of the alley has been completed.
  • The new 5'x3' vault on the north side of the alley, along with the conduits routed from the 7'x14' vault, will be flow‑filled.
  • New conduits will be installed to serve 120 E 4th St, 118 E 4th St, 116 E 4th St, 112 E 4th St, and 104 E 4th St.
