Weekly project update 8/31/26 - 9/6/26

Hello Stakeholders!

Here are the project updates for the week of 8/31/26-9/6/26:

  • Block 5 (Garfield to Railroad Ave.)
    • Vehicle access will be limited to Garfield Ave. only.
  • Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railroad crossing & 4th Street
    • Access across the BNSF railroad tracks is fully closed to vehicles.
    • Pedestrian crossings at the tracks are shifting; please follow posted signage.
  • Block 4 (Cleveland to Railroad Ave.)
    • Block remains closed to vehicle traffic; businesses are open to pedestrian access.
    • Concrete work, boulder seat walls, and power infrastructure.
  • Blocks 1, 2, 3 and 5
    • Permanent sculptures will be installed, which may require the temporary closure of parking spots to accommodate equipment.
  • Garfield Ave. (1st to 7th Street) (non-project related work)
    • Concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk replacements.
    • Expect on-street parking closures and lane shifts.
